What we collect

• Your email address, because it is how you sign in. We do not store a password, since there is none.
• The web addresses you submit, along with the public information we read from those pages, such as the title, description, headings and theme colour.
• The videos we produce for you and the prompts written to produce them.
• Your credit balance and a record of every credit movement, so that purchases, usage and refunds can be reconciled.
• Purchase records from Stripe, such as the amount, currency and payment reference. We never receive your full card number.
• Your IP address and basic request information, used to rate limit sign-in attempts and to prevent abuse.

We do not use advertising trackers, we do not profile you across other websites, and we do not sell personal information.

Why we hold it

We use this information to sign you in, to produce the videos you ask for, to take payment and keep credits accurate, to prevent fraud and abuse, to answer support requests, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, and on your consent where it is asked for.

Who else processes it

We use these providers, and they act on our instructions:

• Google Firebase for hosting, sign-in, the database and video storage.
• Fal.ai for video generation and for writing the prompt. The address you submit and the text read from that page are sent there, together with the model providers Fal routes to.
• Resend for sending sign-in emails. Your email address is shared for that purpose.
• Stripe for payments. Stripe collects your payment details directly under its own privacy policy.
• Vercel hosts the site and provides its visitor statistics. It processes the requests your browser makes, including your IP address, in order to serve the pages.

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data leaves your region, we rely on the transfer safeguards our providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case we will tell you.

How long we keep it

You can delete any link and its videos from your library at any time. That removes the record and the stored video files straight away, and returns any credit that never became a video. The entry in your credit history stays, because it is the financial record of what you were charged.

Account details, videos and credit records stay while your account is open, because you need them to reach your library and to see your balance. After you ask us to delete your account we remove your account, videos and submitted addresses within 30 days. We keep purchase and tax records for as long as the law requires, and we may keep anonymous statistics that cannot identify you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to some processing, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to support@rokon.tech from the address on your account and we will respond within the period the law allows, normally 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Visitor statistics

We use Vercel Analytics to count page views and understand which pages people reach. It is measured without cookies and without any identifier stored on your device. Vercel derives a temporary, hashed visitor reference from the details your browser sends with each request, such as the address of the page, the referring site, the country, and the type of device and browser. That reference is discarded daily and cannot be traced back to you by us.

We see totals and trends, never a profile of an individual. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not combine it with your account. Because nothing is stored on your device for this purpose, no cookie banner is needed.

Storage in your browser

The site stores a small amount of information in your browser: the sign-in session from Firebase, the email address you entered so the sign-in link can be completed, and any address you pasted before signing in. This stays on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it and signs you out.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Videos are held in private storage and reached through links tied to your account. Database rules stop one account from reading another's data, and every write passes through our backend. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
